Dmitri Zorine, Ph.D
Computational Protein Designer
Dmitri Zorine is a Protein Designer, Scientific Software Developer, and ML Protein Scientist with 8 years of experience in protein design and biochemistry, and 2 additional years as a research assistant in neuroscience. With a Bachelor's degree in Biomathematics from Rutgers University and a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Washington, Dmitri has honed his expertise in both academic and research settings. He has worked as a protein design research assistant at an academic lab at Rutgers University, contributing to work on switching proteins, metalloenzymes, and proteases. As a graduate research assistant at the University of Washington's Institute for Protein Design, he led projects on switching proteins, and structurally focused symmetric protein design with unique architectures. In addition to his extensive research background, Dmitri is skilled in programming with C++ and Python. His particular research interests lie in structurally motivated molecular design, as well as therapeutic biochemistry.
