David Williams, Ph.D

Scientific Advisor

Dr. David S. Williams is a Professor-in-Residence of Ophthalmology and Neurobiology at UCLA, holding the Karl Kirchgessner Foundation Chair in Vision Science. He earned his Ph.D. in Neurobiology from Australian National University. Dr. Williams has received numerous accolades, including the Endre A. Balazs Prize for eye research. His research focuses on the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying retinal diseases. Dr. Williams has published extensively and is known for his innovative work in retinal cell biology and gene therapy.
